It is not known if, before the end of the Anthropocene, part of humanity has been able to leave the Earth they had ruined. The Museum holds many models of devices that could have been used for this flight (see Cat. Nr. 163, Cat. Nr. 164, Cat. Nr. 172)  It would have been a small consolation in doing it  with the beautiful rocket invented by Tintin's friend Professor Calculus (Professeur Tournesol).(See also Cat. Nr. e5 )
