In the movie of the Sun (see Cat. Nr. 90) - taken from a satellite that is positioned in a place where the attractive forces of the Sun and of the Earth cancel out Venus, Mercury aswell as the Moon pass in between the satellite and the Sun. In case of the Moon it results in an eclipse of the Sun. Venus and Mercury, on the other hand, move like small black dots over the Sun's surface. In the installation here, the Earth and the Moon, Venus and Mercury turn in front of the Sun, leaving shadows that could possibly be seen from the outer planets: Mars, Saturn, ...
